About the Author
Dezs� Sima is Director of Informatics at the Kand� Polytechnic in Budapest where he has specialized in computer architecture since 1972. He has published two books and over thirty papers.
Terence Fountain is a Doctor of Physics and Astronomy at University College London and has previously published in the field of computer architecture.
P�ter Kacsuk is Head of the Laboratory of Parallel and Distributed Systems at the KFI-MSZKI Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

In 1999, I have used this book as a text for my course on' Advanced Computer Architecture.' I have found that the presentation and discussion of many topics is very good.
The main limitations for the use of this book as text are: (a) there are no excersizes at the end of chapters, and (2) there are no resources available on the web.
